Opportunities to crack a rib laughing, available 24 hours a

When I turn on my television in the morning I am greeted by Comedy Central. It is always the last channel I watched the night before on my direct tv packages. I can always depend on shows like South Park to entertain my degenerate side. To catch up on the current news I can tune in to The Daily Show with John Stewart followed up by The Colbert Report.

The weekends are often filled with marathon runs of shows like Scrubs, RENO 911, and Comedy Central Presents, a thirty minute laugh riot featuring a different stand up comic every episode. Late night programming on the weekends will often be uncut and unedited to bring enjoyment for the adults who tire of missing the punch line due to censorship of foul language with an audio signal, the familiar beep. Comedy Central Roasts of celebrities delivered in their full and raunchy glory is a great weekend treat.

Never shying away from critics or controversy, Comedy Central stays loyal to the craft by giving us viewers a chance to enjoy comedy however we want it; witty, satirical, trashy, stand-up or sitting around. With tons of original content and numerous reruns from other networks, I can find enjoyment twenty-four hours a day.
